DESCRIPTION

Sweet peaches were harvested in Alcarràs for many years and have been the livelihood of a multi-generational farming family. However, this year’s harvest is supposed to be the last. The new owner of the land decides to sell the property, and new plan is to cut down the peach trees and install solar panels. The clash of summer idyll and inevitable change creates cracks in the family monolith, the differences of opinion develop into a multi-level conflict. Simón invited non-professional actors from Alcarràs to tell the story about the Solé family. She was looking for the deep naturalism and close relations between the actors and the characters played by them.
