DESCRIPTION
Kalina Jędrusik – film and theatre actress, singer of the Old Men’s Cabaret, hypnotizes next generations with a low, warm, sensual voice and continues to influence the Polish public, even though more than thirty years have passed since her death. Katarzyna Klimkiewicz’s film looks back on two years in which the career of the leading scandalist of the People’s Republic of Poland gained momentum. Kalina Jędrusik’s painting – full of joy and drawing a handful of it – is embedded in the larger context of the artistic bohemia of the 60s of the last century.

— KATARZYNA KLIMKIEWICZ (1977), Polish screenwriter and director, graduate of the PWSFTviT directing department in Łódź. She creates committed films that ask questions – short metro and documentaries, as well as directing TV shows and series. Her full-length debut was the thoroughly political thriller "Blind", which she shot in Great Britain.
