DESCRIPTION

Lidia Duda (1958) did not deal with the document until relatively late. As a graduate of cultural studies at the UWr, she first worked in the jazz club, the Wroclaw Opera and also taught art.

Later, she was swallowed up by television. In the 90s she worked for “News” (Aktualności) of TVP Katowice, then she made reports for the “Reporter-Express” – she produced more than sixty films. Since the 1900s he has been producing documentaries. Her signature is empathy, she just listens to her characters and believes in the power of their stories. Her films are made with an extraordinary sensitivity and a special feeling for the weaker, the excluded, the other. Both previous reports and documentaries have an enormous impact.

Cinema Lesson with Lidia Duda at the Bursztynowa Hall, Szkolna Street 1, on Tuesday, August 2, at 6:00 p.m., just after the screening of the film “The Fledglings”.
