DESCRIPTION
A small farm in picturesque Podhale is run only by Bartek and his mother – the father has left. Although Bartek likes his job, he dreams of leaving, but he cannot leave his broken mother alone. After the death of a neighbor, David, his son, comes to the funeral. Bartek and the older David begin to build a relationship. Since the mother is even more afraid of her son moving away, she simulates the disease.
DIRECTOR
— KAMIL KRAWCZYCKI, Polish editor, producer, director and screenwriter. Born in Zakopane, lives in Kraków. He graduated in Journalism and Social Communication and Culture Management at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and postgraduate directing at Warsaw Film School. He has made several music videos. His short films was screened on international film festivals. "Elefant" (2022), his full-length debut film, which he directed and wrote a scenario for, is partly autobiographical. FILMOGRAPHY
