DESCRIPTION
The end of the war and the liberation of the Allies from the concentration camp did not mean the end of Hans’ captivity. According to paragraph 175, which criminalizes homosexuality, he is transferred directly to prison. In the following years he returned to the cell after further convictions, and the law in post-war Germany did not differ from Nazi Germany in its attitude towards homosexuality. The tragic fate of Hans, who wants to remain true to himself at all costs, has the chance to change if the rules are relaxed. What kind of world awaits a man who’s been imprisoned for almost a quarter of a century?
