DESCRIPTION
Strong directorial debut, visual extravagance, told in rap rhythm. A modern polyphonic metropolitan story about human dreams, the longing for love, loneliness and despair suppressed by antidepressants. Nobody’s happy in this world. Kamil lives in the block with his mother and dreams of a career as a rapper. He has an affair with the bored, unhappy, wealthy married woman Iwona. The screenplay is based on Dorota Masłowska’s unique prose, and according to the director: “the most important, but the hardest, thing was to translate the poetry of the verses into the poetry of the images”.

DIRECTOR
— ALEKSANDRA TERPIŃSKA (1983), Polish director, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, co-author of series, commercials and music videos. She studied directing at the Silesian University in Katowice and psychology in Wroclaw. Since her time as a student, she has established herself as one of the most talented artists of young Polish cinema, who courageously sought her language and at the same time had an excellent director’s workshop. Her shorts have been screened worldwide at festivals such as Cannes, San Sebastian, Telluride and Clermont-Ferrand. She received for it fifty awards.FILMOGRAPHY
