DESCRIPTION
Jonathan Wu is the world’s best panda breeder. Nele, on the other hand, can’t even get her own life together. The two couldn’t be more different: he’s introverted and withdrawn, she’s full of rage at the world and always ready to make it known. The only thing they have in common is loneliness. But as fate would have it, the two meet in the Frisian pampas, between a zoo and a golfer’s paradise. And just as it is with pandas, so it is with Jonathan and Nele: at first sight it is decided whether the two are destined for each other or will avoid each other forever.
DIRECTOR
— ELENA PILAR NYFFELER (1990), born in Boston MA, raised in Switzerland. Studies acting at the HfS Ernst Busch in Berlin. Works as an ensemble member at Theater Heidelberg, where the thought – to direct someday - moves from the back of her head to her heart. Works for several years as a freelance actress and speaker. First theater directing work with “Okkultes – ein toxisches Pas de Deux”. In 2019 with short film projects ventured in the direction of film, tasted blood and finally applied to the HMS.
