DESCRIPTION
What is the strength of a relationship? Is a perfectly matched “other half” given for a lifetime, or do we need superpowers to maintain a relationship? Paolo Genovese tells the story of Anna, an impulsive cartoonist with a nonconformist personality, and Marco, a physics teacher who believes that everything is ruled by some kind of formula. We get to know them when they fall in love with each other as young people with no memory. After the initial conviction that they have a lifelong love, reality with all the emotions, temptations and everyday life says, “OK, I’ll check it.”
DIRECTOR
— PAOLO GENOVESE (1966), an Italian film director and screenwriter. Before moving to the cinema, he worked with the McCann Erickson agency for which he produced more than 100 commercials.
