DESCRIPTION
Sometimes the road to independence leads through the dark Masurian wilderness. Agata, in the middle of thenight, returns home alone, and her journey does not go as she would like. The events of that day and the people she meets will make her look at life differently. How much longer will she allow her boundaries to be overstepped?
DIRECTOR
— EDYTA WRÓBLEWSKA, director, screenwriter and producer, graduate of the Wajda School, PhD student at the Łódź Film School (PWSFTviT). Author of documentaries (including 'Ala z Elementarza', 'PRL de luxe', 'Małe Instrumenty', "Zygmunt Hubner. Gra z rzeczywistością"), which have been screened at Several dozen international film festivals in Poland and around the world, where they have won numerous awards. She has also produced a theatre performance entitled "Mulholland Drive/Diane" at the Horzyca Theatre. For many years, she has been a lecturer in film directing programmes for young people. "The Road" is her feature film debut.
