DESCRIPTION
Julia lives in Oslo and soon turns thirty. She knows more about what she doesn’t want than what she wants. She lives in fear of being stuck while everything around her changes. This is also the fear of making a wrong choice – whether it is an emotional one or an educational (today surgery, tomorrow psychology). Julia has a relation with Aksel – a cartoonist, a little bit older than she, who is fulfilling himself artistically and professionally. By chance she meets the young, somewhat crazy and self-confident Eivind, with whom she spends the night, what doesn’t fix her existential chaos.

DIRECTOR
— JOACHIM TRIER (1974), Norwegian screenwriter, producer and director. He was born in Copenhagen, but grew up in Norway. She comes from a film family – both parents and her grandfather make films, the siblings work also in the film industry. He studied in Denmark and Great Britain. In his films, Trier focuses on themes such as identity, disorientation, ambition and friendship. His films have been awarded numerous prizes and awards, including Academy Award nominations – Oscars and the Palme d’Or.FILMOGRAPHY
