DESCRIPTION

Rescuing a drinking father who has just lost his job and a way to survive for his family is to go to Italy for a few months. This is the view of Grandmother Toni, of whom Tonia understands herself completely differently, and she decides to thwart the plan. This is not easy, the girl is only eleven years old, half-orphaned and lives in the Polish province, but she is determined and desperate. The director gave Toni the role of the narrator of the film. She leads the audience joyfully and openly through their world. Bortkiewicz’s second film is a tragicomedy with hope for the future.
